Last night's Packers v 49ers OMG.

Watching them talk about the tush push. Ironically the Eagles were just as successful without using it from 2018-2021 as when using it 2022 til now.

Both are ~ 88% when going for it on 3rd or 4th and short. The only difference I suspect is they use the tush push more now when their in their own end of the field.

Is they probably had a much better all-around team back then. Coach, QB, running backs/receivers which allowed a better offering of conversions. Better line protection that allowed plays to develop.

It's a legal football play. Like I said those who gripe are just airing sour grapes. It's a silly complaint. Don't like it? Stop it. If teams stop it it won't be used any longer. Nothing prevents any other teams from doing it.

Not so sure about that. Their front line is pretty good if not one of the best. They have the best running back now. And the QB does what it takes to win. Not concerned about personal stats.

Agree…. The time to have stopped it was back in 2022. I think the Eagles have one of the best O Lines anyway. And they have Barkley.

If they do eventually outlaw it I don’t think they’ll miss a beat. And history backs that up.

Agree about positions most vulnerable to concussion. But there is not a direct parallel between concussions and CTE (surprisingly to me).

I wish... Currently, they still have a very good O-line with great talent but, it's not as good as last year. We'll see if Landon Dickerson can return to form. He had a knee injury coming from training camp but now he's been nursing a bad back just like he had been toward the end of last season. At his size a bad lower back would be brutal!

I don’t think there should be a rule against it. I still worry about the pile falling on Jalen, but if he and the team aren’t worried then it’s really none of my business. Usually in the NFL if someone is unstoppable, someone will find a way to get them off of the field.

I remember being at recess and pretending to be the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line with the stand up after the cadence call of "down" and "set". Then owning the place by calling "Shotgun!" And walking 5 paces back.

Commanders without Daniels tomorrow, without Ekeler for the season, and missing an edge rusher we just brought in this season. They re-signed Preston Smith, but will he be anywhere near ahat he was, and will he be ready to contribute right away?

Luckily, we get the Raiders tomorrow. Still have a fighting chance.

I believe week 3 will be the breakout week; that we'll start to see which teams are rounding into shape - since most of the first two weeks' games looked like pre-season. LOL
And though it's way early, also be able to gauge roster depth/quality given all of the significant injuries.

Just saw a surprising stat. Since 1990 teams going 0-2 have only a 12% chance of making the playoffs.

Par4QC During the Bears game there was a stat posted showing when teams are 1-1 & 0-2.
0-2 have only a 12% chance of making playoffs.
