I was a bowler. Very good bowler. Won awards, tournaments, set records for the entire QC area in general & tournament records. But no one knew me or what I looked like, unless they were there at those times. All the newspapers wanted an interview and I did them, more as support for my other team members(which I always mentioned) and for the tournaments themselves. To me, it was all somewhat embarrassing. I would casually slip in to pick up the checks and awards, no one around. And hated the sneak attack presentations, by a friend who was a bowling exec.
There was never any dancing, gloating, etc..
Even at my age now, when I see such things going on, in life or TV, I'm embarrassed by their reactions. And shake my head. I do not watch Pro bowling any longer due to this shit. Pete Weber is still an ass.
I can be and will be very 'playful' on golf courses at times. 😆
