The mental component to sports is underrated. If you can demoralize your opponent through trash talk you're an idiot not to do it. Some people think it's unsportsmanlike to try punching out the football. I respect and understand that view but for me I like a player who will do anything to win within the rules. If that means trash talking him to make him lose his focus or quit? Do it.
