Well. Game winding down and behind by 3, 3rd and 8 and he overthrows a guy 35 yards downfield by 5 yards. F for situational awareness, D for execution. 4th and 8, misses sideline receiver 10 yards downfield by 3 yards to the outside. My guess is he probably threw to the right spot, but didn’t adjust to the actual situation. Situational awareness D, execution C. Looks like he has another chance with a minute and no timeouts left.
Good pass for 30 yards on 2nd and 10. A in both categories. Touchdown on next play. Perfect pass to wide open receiver. Good job under pressure. See if Goff can do the same with 45 seconds to go.
Based upon the last 5 minutes of game time I’d say he’s slightly better than average today. No interceptions and about 270 yards.
