ode Local/team broadcasters typically better bang for the buck......but it typically does not sync up with the broadcast.

I watched a partial Skycast combo with Texas home-cooking radio announcers, was sync’s up. Enjoyable because they know their personnel better. In Philly, if you can sync it, Merrill Reese and Mike Quick are great!

azgreg A little bit of a surprise - despite his reputation, Jerry Jones has been pretty patient with coaches in his time as the owner of the Cowboys, and Dallas have been mostly pretty good with McCarthy as head coach. (This year is an obvious exception, but there's only so much blame to assign to coaching when the front office took so long to get extensions for Prescott and Lamb done that the team basically couldn't do anything in free agency...)

MartinD I think Jerry Jones is more afraid to admit fault, such as hiring the wrong HC in the first place. However, he did turn a $140M acquisition into $10B.

MartinD You have to look at the reason McCarty is walking. Not because Jones did not want him back. It was due to contract length. Which equates to money, long term. And Jerry only has about $17B to play around with.

Jones probably only offered 1 year though. Which furthers the case of him being an idiot.

Well, 3 seasons of 12-5 shows differently. Each season of which they made the playoffs.
Then you have that following season, when the owner spent $400M on just 2 players, and 1 can't even play, and they go 7-10, missed the playoffs.....but it's the coach's fault?

Suits me just fine since I'm going to be watching many years worth of a developing Commanders team now that they've got the QB at the helm (and with a new owner). Yeah, seems the competition's shifting in the NFC East. Go Commanders!
