Sneakylong With their win today the Patriots fall to number 4 in the draft. My guess for the top 3 picks will be QB Shedure Sanders, QB Cam Ward and WR / DB Travis Hunter. Not sure what order.

I'm hoping the Eagles can pick up the tight-end from LSU and if not him then the kid from Penn State. Both are complete gamer's and it's time to get Dallas Goedert's understudy.
Granted it was the Giants but the Eagles put out an entirely new/different offensive line today and they were pretty damn good. It's nice to have an invested owner who knows/loves football, hires great player personnel management, and stays the hell of the kitchen. I'm hoping Jerry Jones doesn't observe. It's why the Foreskins are going to continue to improve.

Bob Kraft has a reputation of being a good owner as well. We’ll see how long it takes to rebuild after Bill left the team depleted. The Pats have their QB, but need more pieces around him.

propman agreed. To be expected on the other side of the ball. Green Bay imploded most of the game. Special Teams blunder, fumble, and the final offensive possession. Of course my text chain is calling out the "prevent defense" on the final possession of the game. Good call by the bears trips right and single receiver/coverage left. Valentine got beat. Easy throw and catch. The only thing preventing that was a blitz/unblocked defender right on Williams.

professor elbow, likely a stinger type injury, follow through on to a helmet....looked like it caused some weakness in his hand. He was up and throwing and able to come in if needed. Willis also hit his thumb on a defender helmet and was causing him some issues as well at end of game. I don't think either will prevent them from playing but could be a factor.

Interesting how some teams rest their starters and still come to play. The allegedly disappointed and allegedly disgusted Eagle fans, who were cheated out of their ticket purchase ended up pretty damn pleased today and got a chance to see the depth of their team that wouldn't otherwise been known. And, hey, Jahan Dotson had a big game! Also nice to see Dallas Goedert shake off some rust.

Mayo was put in a tough situation. No experience as a head coach. Rebuild mode etc.. But Kraft can’t wait around.

I’d like to see an offensive minded head coach, but not sure who’s out there. My guess would be Mike Vrabel who is defensive minded would be the favorite. But we’ll see.

One thing you don’t want to do is keep changing coaches with a good young QB.

One name that comes up is Ben Johnson OC of the Lions. Johnson said no last year to head coaching jobs, preferring to stay with the Lions.

I can understand why owners/coaches have reasons to sit the starters in week 18, and I know how a lot of the fans feel about it, but what about the sponsors?

You would've loved what the Bucs did for Mike Evans yesterday. He needed 5 yards for his 11th consecutive 1000 yard season to tie Jerry Rice. The Bucs were up with 36 seconds left. They just needed to run the ball and end the game.

But instead they ran a play designed just for Evans. It was successful and that play ended the game. The players and crowd went nuts. Baker could've thrown an interception and or Evans could've got Hurt.

The Bucs said nope we want Evans to get his 1000 yards and his $3 million bonus for doing it. Also, Evans missed 4 games this year because of injury.

The Bucs were in the playoffs regardless. But by them winning and Atlanta losing they got the # 3 seed. So the game did have meaning. Pretty cool for Evans though.

I think maybe some teams today found out they don't have the depth they thought they had(esp. KC). No matter who they were up against today.
Others saw some players they need to take care of/keep on board, that may cost them a few more dollars. Let them go, and there goes your depth chart also.
