No doubt anyone could see what teams would 'be there' at this point though.
But, the pooch was screwed if they thought the Bears would be🤣, with having them on Thurs. night this late in the season.

Guess I'm going to have to sign up for Netflix in order to watch them. PO!! 🤬

KC is the predominant team in the NFL no question. Only because of their QB. Paddy Mahomeboy. If there is a QB that can catch Brady it’s him.

I couldn’t care less. Wasn’t my point. How does the opponent beat KC if they catch the majority of the Zebra’s calls?! He’ll, KC just won with their best defensive player sitting this one out .

Ha,ha. He’s on a pretty good pace though. Remember that Brady had a 10 year dry spell.

If Bill had given Brady more higher end receiver help over the years it might’ve been different. Andy Reid is a great offensive minded coach.

And that's the thing, Andy Reid, that will make Mahomes leave the game on a high note, and not as an old man.
Andy will not stay forever, and thus also will go Mahomes. May stick around for a couple years after, but not forever.

He has made Mahomes. Reid saw something in him where 9 teams passed on him. I know you guys make fun of me citing legacy. But at that level with Brady and Mahomes it means everything.

If Mahomes can stay healthy he’ll stick around to try and chase Brady. It’s what the greats do. And Reid will be right there with him.

Unlike Belichick moving on from Brady prematurely.

It could be argued that he already has - yes, he's still producing at a reasonable level this season, but he looks so slow compared to the players around him (to the point where I'm getting late-career Jason Witten flashbacks).

This isn't just with the NFL. You see it in other sports where the superstars get preferential treatment when it comes to calls. Or at least that's the perception.

Can't just 'choose up' and try to make others think your way.

That's all beside the point anyway. History will write/is written now, that he was/is a great coach and he will be in HOF, same as Belichick will be. There will be no asterisks.

I listen to guys like Shady McCoy who praise Andy Reid as the best coach in the NFL. I buy into the thought that offensive minded coaches are the way to go in this NFL. Where because of safety reasons defenses have been restrained.

Edit: Shady McCoy just said he thinks Andy Reid is the best coach of all time.

That’s why I called him a great general manager. He picked the talent. And he’s gotten better all along. He’s better now than Philly. That’s to his credit.
