professor To be fair to Jones, he has had a crappy O-line and no receivers who could actually catch the ball.
To take that ragtag duct-taped jalopy of a team to the playoffs and win a game is really something.
Football is a team game and he hasn't had a team. He is practically single-handed carrying those morons to their victories. Put him in Washington or in Detroit or in Philly and i think you would begin to see what he can do. He has a big arm. His accuracy is pretty good and getting better. He can run like the wind, so broken plays are often big gainers. Now that he has learned to protect the ball better, he has been solid.
He is still young, and he is healthy. His best years are likely still ahead of him. I would take him in a heartbeat. I think he has been seriously underestimated by most people, and I think it is based on the fact that he hasn't had good players around him. Get that man a line that can protect him for a few seconds, and get him two receivers that could get off the practice squads of any other team in the NFL, and then let's see what he can do.
