I raced dirt circle track for almost 20 years, and yes we only turned left. After hot laps, heat race, and feature were over I was physically and mentally spent. It may look smooth from the stands, but you take a beating inside that car. Most tracks I raced on felt like I was on some farmer’s field, with ruts and holes everywhere, while others were as slick as ice. I can only recall one person driving one armed, but he only did that when he wasn’t close to any other cars. Try slinging one into a dirt corner going 80-90 mph, door to door, nut to butt sometime. It’s a thrill ride, but it’ll wear your ass out.
