I have been thinking about trying one of these and thought I’d see if anyone here has one before I order a new one.

Left to right KE4 5w, 21 HyWay, KE4 TC 5y. I bought the 21 here and was a little put off by the deep face at first but don't notice it once I striated hitting it. Very easy to hit and useful club. GW Canada finally has them in stock and I have a 23 on the way.

I like the size of the 5w head. How's it perform? How's the forgiveness?

I built one, played it and then sold the head to a Golfbuzzer here. It was a good performer.

Nat Did you ever bite the bullet and get one? I'm tempted as I like the Tour TC fairways and hybrids.

Hoss7504 You didn't ask me, but my $.02: I have a Tour TC 5w and like it a lot. Not sure it fits in my bag yardage-wise, but I find it easier to hit than my Mavrik 5w. I might give the Mavrik a slight edge in feel/sound and it may have a hair more pop, but I hit the Maltby better. I've only ever liked Maltby irons, but the new fairways and hybrids are top notch IMO.

colej I have a Tour TC 3 wood now, but haven't hit it. I do have a the 5w and I actually prefer that over the Mavrik. Maybe not quite as hot a face, but with same shaft and setup it's easier to hit. It knocked the Mavrik out. Unfortunately not sure if the 5w has a spot in my bag. Still have a Mavrik 3w in the bag; hoping Tour TC 3w or 4w will do better. I miss my old XR16 3w.

The TC line is really good. Hybrids and fairways can hang with about any OEM.

colej I agree. I really do like the Tour TC 5w, but I just find I don't use it much. Hopefully the 3w will replace the Mavrik 3w. I need a 3w for some of the doglegs, but the Mavrik has not worked as well as my old XR16.

I started using a Tour TC hybrid last year and think those will be great once I have the right shaft. Just built a TSW 52 that looks fantastic. I like my current setup, but I'm on my way to a Maltby bag (maybe backup) one club at a time
