Tinker There’s a few other sites I periodically check on and two in particular seem to have a love affair with shoe companies. One pushes linkswear and the other is sensitive if you criticize Sqarz.I commented on200 bucks for vinyl shoes and a couple posters went ballistic defending Squars. On the other I questioned 140 bucks for fabric shoes and the grand pubs of the site had a fit. Am I wrong?

I wanted to say something about the fabric shoes too but I saw how pissed off the guy who runs the forum gets if you voice an opinion that’s not approved by him…. On anything actually if you’ve ever noticed. There are a lot of “suck up” forums out there. One in particular that has their granddaddy tournament etc…. They suck up sooo bad so they get invited to oem events.

KCee Nope I agree. I do have a pair of Trues (which I really like), but they are leather and were half price at one of the golf outlet sites.

accufitgolf Having once been a FootJoy Dealer I learned a few things about golf shoes. You are better off buying two inexpensive pairs, rotating them when you play, wiping them off after you play, and keeping wooden shoe trees in them. They will last forever.

Sneakylong ode All I wear are Eccos. We have an outlet mall close by that has an Eccos store. I have about 8 pair of Eccos. Great golf shoe. Also, all I wear are spikeless.
rsvman2 I have the knit True linkswear shoes and they are the best I have ever owned, period. Incredibly comfortable right out of the box. In fact, not only the best golf shies I have ever had, but the best shoes of any kind I have ever had.
garyt1957 I don't wear golf shoes, (well I have one pair I'll wear if it's really wet out for the waterproofing) so I had no idea Squarz were that expensive. Don't they claim to give you 7 more yards? Glad I have no interest in shoes, just something else to spend money on. There are some nice looking models out ,though.
