Heard Dave Stockton on PGA radio yesterday talking about the swing weight in wedges. Says he uses D2 in his irons, but D6.5 in his wedges he uses in greenside bunkers. Told some stories of guys who used the same swing weight in their wedges as in their irons and how some struggled in the bunkers until they went to a higher swing weight. Basically saying more swing weight in sand wedges works better in bunkers.
Anyway, I have graphite in all my clubs except the putter. My course uses heavy, thick, dense sand that sucks to get out of around the greens. Thinking about putting some lead tape on my wedges to bring the swing weight up. It'll be interesting to see if it helps.
