bdurnin Looking for feedback on these irons please. How do they stack up against the current offerings? Have a chance to grab a set at a reasonable price. Please share your opinions and experiences. Thanks!
bigshank bdurnin They are actually pretty good sticks. Medium offset forgiving and long. Only thing I didn’t like is they sounded clicky. Then again I play steelhead xr irons that are no better in the sound category. I could easily go back to those clubs in a heartbeat and be happy. If they fit your specs or reasonably close they will stack up to anything out there in the game improvement iron options
Sneakylong Had them before I got the G400’s. Nothing wrong with the G’s. Very good Ping game improvement iron.
sdandrea1 I had a set when they first came out. Very typical PING GI iron. They do have a distinctive click sound, but it's not unpleasant. As good as anything PING makes today.
ode Cwing G415 I still think they should've went with 420....and trying to grow the game, so many tag lines that would've brought in the youngins!
PA-PLAYA I'm not skilled enough to note much of a performance difference between the G30 irons and the G's. I have both. The G’s have a slightly thinner sole, which might appeal to some. But performance wise, I personally can't tell the difference.
