More shaft tipping questions

So I bought some high loft hybrids to try and planned to use DTG FG Plus senior flex shafts. But they don't have any other than the electric yellow. I do have some R flex shafts at home and was wondering what would happen if I just don't tip them as much as recommended for R. Would that make them play more like A flex or would it just make the tip really soft and add too much launch?

Also, is anybody familiar with the FGS Vision or FGS 60 Lite iron shafts?

You're essentially soft-stepping if you don't tip the shafts. I believe it's about 1/3 flex difference each time you to tip a shaft, so if you wanted a regular flex shaft to play like a senior flex, you'd take an untipped or 1 iron/1 hybrid shaft and put it in a 4 hybrid to get to roughly a senior flex. I'm no expert though so hopefully someone else chimes in if I'm way off base.

So then a 5 hybrid would be tipped like a 2 iron and so on? Interesting.
