It's nice here too. We got only about an inch of new snow today. Temp right now is +9, falling to -9 tonight with -33 wind chill. Tomorrow it will reach -6 for a high temp and a wind chill of around -37 and fall to -13 tomorrow night with an expected wind chill of -35.

Our local news showed a car in Kentucky sliding on the ice into a Police cruiser.

We're getting 4-7" tonight into tomorrow.

That was in N. KY. I am 2 hrs south. It is 9° now with -1° wind chill. I just shoveled off 5" of new snow off of my walk. So, now it is bare ice which won't start melting for a several more days.

It's been unusually cold in St. Louis for an unusual amount of time. 18 of the last 23 days the temp has remained below freezing with two more scheduled. We did hit 63 on one of the 5 above freezing days.

It's supposed to be in the 50's by the weekend and after tomorrow all of the highs in the long range (through Feb 3) are at least in the 40's.

Our cats are so bored.

livegolf All 3 neighbors to the left around the culdesac have blowers, all offer use, I pass. I don't mind doing it. The ones to the right of the lights winter in Florida after Christmas and offer to let me keep theirs, I'd just assume shovel, good exercise. I've done everything 3 times yesterday and today. Personally, I love the lights. Neighbors on the right side of us still have theirs up too.

This winter is so bad so far, I'm surprised there aren't any snow shovels and blowers in the swap shop. I almost feel sorry for some of you...................almost.
