Distance glasses only here. 55 and I’m lucky I still dont need reading glasses. I wear my glasses while driving, sporting events and when I play. I’ve got both indoor/outdoor (prescription transition lenses) and prescription sunglasses including a pair with Oakley Golf Dark Prizm lenses.
I had some issues with a new pair early this year and had to have my newest glasses remade. They absolutely impacted my play until the redue which included a new visit to the eye doc. The second pair are much better now. I simply do t believe bifocals are something someone should play with. I’d definitely go with single vision on the course.
All that stated, I highly recommend my transitions (Flexon frames) and the Oakley Golf Dark sunglasses but …… wearing glasses sucks. No other way around it. Glasses are especially bad when it’s rainy, misty, etc.
I did explore and they did tell me I am a candidate for lasik ….. however, the second I have it done I would then need reading glasses. I simply don’t see the point of trading one for the other.
