Par4QC Lived in the MI UP (KI Sawyer AFB) when my dad was stationed there, lots of snow. Lived in Oscoda MI and was just south of the typical snow belt (south of Alpena) but with Lak Huron, the wind made the place cold, but not a lot of snow. Also, seemed to always be cross wind or tailwind which are not best for landing airplane.
Too old for snow now. Was very happy to donate my snow shovels when I departed Northern VA.
