Yeah, definitely sucks.
A buddy of mine from my club, who I've played most of my golf with over the last 3 years... he's retired, but his wife lost her job back in December. Well, last week she finally landed a job, but it's forcing them to relocate down to Orlando at the end of the month. We were really hoping to get at least one or two more "sentimental" rounds in together before he leaves, but that's pretty much been squashed with the snow.
I texted him this morning and asked him how it felt having endured the last Nor'easter he'll ever have to deal with. "I'll miss you, but not gonna miss the winters up here."
Although I don't want my wife to lose her job, a big part of me is rather envious of him.
