Looking like I'll be breaking out the snow blower Thursday afternoon. 😖

7-11" being projected, beginning around midnight tomorrow night for Northeast PA, wrapping up around noon on Thursday.

A large escape would be anything around 90 days or beyond, some place where I wake up in the morning, go out to the driveway in a robe and flip flops to fetch the morning paper, come back inside and turn the weather channel on, then mutter something to the effect of "glad that ain't us."

Still quite a ways from enjoying that opportunity...

But yeah - I still consider myself blessed to escape for a week!

Snow and ice still on the ground and RAIN is forecast for the next few days. Flood warning issued ......
This moisture batch will become snow in a few days over to the East.

sdandrea1 Shit, 1/2 price on a course that is all uphill?? No one is gonna be jealous of that.

Only good thing about that course, as I'm seeing it, is the fact that if you'd hit a ball towards the water, it would just roll out onto the grass. Bad thing is, can't make a putt!

I hate where I live...

Yesterday: slushy cold mix, absolute crap all day.

Today: they fecked up the forecast and everything froze over nite. Morning commute featured a 55 car pile up and shut down the highway. Took my son to school and the 45 minute ride took 2.5 hours. Then another 1.5 hours to get where I had to be. By noon it was 50 degrees and sunny...

Tomorrow we get 14" of snow.

Cars were just sliding down streets...never see that around here. Just saw an awful story on the local news...kid called his father last nite because he was in a small accident. Dad jumped out of bed, like I have done when the kids car breaks down, and goes to him. Once he got there another car slid on the ice and killed the father.

I hate the f@&#ing weather.

Provisional yes, my son and I did it. The only way to get a good picture was to do it facing my neighbors house. His driveway is a stupid steep incline.

Anyone had seen rain coming down so hard and heavy, it ran down the flashing and over shot the gutter line ?

That's what we had this afternoon and plus thunder and lightening. Almost felt like in late April or early May while a few days ago it felt like frozen tundra with snow over a foot in 12 hours

After our first legitimate snow of this winter (in the Northeast) it's cold as a witches tit in a brass bra! Real feel 5 degrees! (Yeah, I know it's not Canada.)

Yeah. Not exactly the welcome party I was expecting getting back home this evening.

Was actually due to arrive Wednesday night... mechanical issues with the plane in Cabo led to a cancelled flight, so we spent an additional night in a hotel near the airport. Which in hindsight was probably not the worst thing. Otherwise I would've been driving up the Northeast Extension in blizzard conditions in the wee hours of the morning late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning.

So we finally got home this morning at 4 a.m. And... pleased to see that my son had completely shoveled the driveway, the sidewalks, and even the steps going down around back to the backyard.

Normally I'd say it's good to be back home, but for the first time ever - I left to come home from a vacation not wanting to leave. That's the way vacations should always be!

I'm now officially sick of this shit. We had a good run up until last week. Now 3 storms since last Thursday. Tonite we are getting 12-18"...so work will be all screwed up with nothing going out.

Trying to get Nick to talk to the other bands and cancel their show in Boston tonite. Bassist has to drive 2 hours, the other band is from New Hampshire. Makes no sense, plus there will most likely be a parking ban.

Tired of the weather now...Its official.

Windy last Friday into Saturday gusting to 50 MPH.
Clear and dry yesterday and into tomorrow, the...... rain from the Pacific returns for the most of the week. Which means the moisture will drift to the Mid West and the Eastern continent.
No golf for awhile. I'm going to reshaft a few sets of irons.

More than 9" of rain this month, so far the 6th most rain fall for the month of February on record.
It was raining so hard and throughout the might, no one could sleep well.....
This is going East, not sure it'll be what form of moisture when it gets there.
No let up until maybe this weekend....

Mud slide reported in residential area and off I-90 somewhere east of here , lane closure just in time for the morning rush hour.

Snow would be better with these rainfall volume. Wait, just 10 days ago we had the snow storm so we don't miss it.
