Typhoon The meteorologists say differently, and even laugh at the thought.....but these 2 damned rivers we live between seem like a wedge when really nasty weather heads towards us. The rivers meet on the West side of the Quad Cities, and in that area, in Iowa, they get some hellacious weather before the split.
The worst of it was diverted North and South. The Southern portion is always the worst and will go through the areas that you are probably seeing the damages from, with the storms moving SW-NE. Always passes within 20-30 mi. just South of me.
We got some wind, nothing like predicted for here, rain that you couldn't see through, but not for long. Never even lost power or internet either day. 👍
After we dry out, I'm going to need to find a farmer with a bush hog, for my back yard.😖
