The combo sets should be adjusted for loft. TM has a chart that shows how to make the adjustments for combining the 700 series. For example I got the 790 4 and 5 irons and the fitter adjusted them to 770 loft
They blend well and I picked up the height I needed on the 4 and 5

      Follow up after 9 rounds with the new irons. Overall very happy with the P770/790 combo.
      Due to some decent driving and fewer 3 putts I've matched or beat my handicap in 4 of the 9 rounds.
      Three of the 10 rounds were absolute rubbish on fantastic courses that ate my lunch in 95* temps with 95 to 100% humidity.
      Handicap has dropped 1.6 strokes since the beginning of May when I got them!

          I might contact the TM guy I talked with the other day who is the rep at where I work. I’ll see if I can get some work out of him for next year.

            I have been better with my P770's as well although I think I'm just swinging the irons better. I have a lot of pro shop credit so I had the pro order me a P790 4 iron to add in. Not sure why as I'm good with 6-P, but pretty iffy with the 4 & 5.

                  Could be. My old set has Recoil 110 Stiff while this set has DG 105 R300. They actually feel fairly similar as the VSS in the DG105 really smooths things out. Distance is pretty much the same, but I think the P770 is a bit more forgiving than the Apex 16 Pro.

                      KCee i have to agree the DG105 VSS are much smoother than my DG S300's.
                      They are very stable also. I was concerned I would spray the ball going to R but it's not the case unless I put a super sloppy swing on them. Great combo.
