The players I like to watch are those whose tempo and rhythm I want to try to emulate. Which means players I "like to watch" are not always the players who I root for and vice-versa. I don't like watching Lexi's swing, but I root for her. On the other hand, I was never a Steve Elkington fan, but would kill for his swing. 🤪
My current favs (USA and other) are:
PGA: Collin Morikawa and Louis Oosthuizen
Champions: Couples and - too many (Els, Grant Waite, Carlos Franco ...)
LPGA: Nelly Korda and Anne Van Dam
"Least favs" would include anyone with a really quick tempo (no matter how good the rhythm). I used to have to look away when Nick Price was on TV. Current player tempos I don't want to see creeping into my own would include Rickie Fowler, Brandt Snedeker, and Bernard Langer. I can't think of too many current LPGA players with super-quick tempo's. Annika's was.
