MartinD wishbone What ever happened to keeping a couple of dimes or pennies in your pocket? That's pretty much what I do - have been using some of these as ball markers for quite a few years:
SMT wishbone True, but actually throughout my playing career (which was kinda' short, hahaha) I have seen two guys that used the same coin, who ended up in nearly identical spots on the green and they actually forgot which coin was theirs.... That ended up being deemed a lost ball. Quite a nightmare.
Dufferman Not sure even one of those appeals to me. To each their own I suppose. They kind of look like cheap pins with the little rubber thing on the back side. Something you would stick on the side of a hat or something. Not really a ball marker look IMHO. I suppose the Army and Marine ones are OK if you are/were a member.
mikeintopeka I was surfing for these a year ago on eBay and it appeared the Chinese had flooded the market with these things CHEAP. But the Chinese don't contribute to the Shrine Hospitals for Kids so there's that.
Bravopilot I use military challenge coins. Plus they serve a purpose at the bar, especially when others forget theirs. I like one-offs.
garyt1957 I guess I'm not into dedicated golf stuff like this. I have a bunch of those little plastic ones with the spike in them that you can stick in the green. Don't know where I got them. Otherwise I just use a quarter.
SMT Toulon I would imagine that the poop would be popular and funny to most people. But, "the USA being out?" What does that mean?
Toulon SMT I think there's a large swath of people who don't think as highly of their country anymore. I think the flag or talk of patriotism turns a lot of people off. I'm not one of them, but I see it in many. Poop is much more of a uniter than the flag.
Spuzz Toulon Poop is much more of a uniter Especially a happy poop like the one above. I'd entertain getting an angry shit marker but I bet nobody has the guts to make that one ๐
Toulon SMT Ringo explains it here... Just looking for my "Lucky Number"... https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/07/the-worrisome-decline-of-patriotism-in-america/
