mulegolf Agreed! I've also been able to get the Oncore Elixr for about $20 on sale (Black Friday?) and while I prefer the Maxfli and Vice the Elixr is more than good enough for my game.

Kev,
Vice Pro is a good ball. I have not purchased them online like others but they have a good rep and following in my parts. I like the Maxfli Softfli and Straigthfli too. They are inexpensive (similar to Callaway Supersoft and E6) and work very well.

I like the Maxfli Tour, and Wilson Triad if I can find it on sale. I think they are both made in the same factory as Vice. The Q Star Tour is very similar. They are all interchangeable for me. For the money the Maxfli will probably be my choice going forward.

I'd rate the Vise Pro Plus 100 compression close to the Oncore Elixr 85 compression as close to spin and better than most of the DTC urethane cast balls to the golfing public.

DonM The Pro is a nice ball

For $15 per dozen it is a no-brainer…no matter that they are not the most current version of Vice Pro

I bought 2 packs (4 dozen)…may go back & get more…have been playing this ball for 2 seasons now & there is no reason to switch.

ode What version is it? I.e.. what year?

These double dozen packs at Sam’s are the original 2016 version…they have “Vice Pro” printed in the alignment aid line.

The other Vice Pro’s that I ordered customized almost a year ago are the 2020 version and have just “Pro” printed in the alignment aid line.

I don’t know what differences are noticeable on the new 2024 version as I haven’t seen any of this latest version yet…

Additionally, you will notice that the alignment line is rounded off on the ends of the 2016 version vs. squared off on 2020 version

ode They must have had a stockpile of the original!

No kidding! They have been selling them for over a year now…at least here at my local Sam’s

I have heard the same…about the cover being more durable on the newer version(s)…I personally have not had a problem with cover durability compared to other balls…unless of course it bounces hard off a cart path, tree or something 😜
