melatonin is hit or miss it seems. Most people don't take enough I was told. It didn't work for me.
CBD apparently is quite effective according to a few that I know who use it, their issues relate to pain from severe injuries ( ski accident and chronic neck pain from disc degeneration)
Sleep apnea is a big one for those who are able to fall asleep but cannot get good or a restful sleep. Obesity is a major contributor. I have never been obese but was carrying 5-10 extra and losing that helped my sleep.
I have no issues falling asleep...but do toss and turn and wake. A doctor friend said Eating or drinking after 8pm is bad as is using a phone or tablet within a couple hours of sleep......I have been known to do both although went dry the whole month of February and have had 1 beer in March so far.
Gonna try and not eat anything after dinner and no phone orbipad within a couple hours of bed time and see if that makes a diff
