I am guessing it was the shingles shot. I got the two jab doses of Shingrix. Both doses put me down for about four days. Not super sick but I didn't feel well. I read about 7 common side effects and I had 5. I mentioned this to my doc and he said that was common. Having had a 75 year old bud who got shingles in his eyes the side effects of the vax is preferable.

Rickochet Yeah I have 2 buddies that had shingles and it did not sound appealing. Got the shot late afternoon Friday. Played golf Sat and I did get super tired on the back 9 (played better of course) and then felt sort of sick that night. Sun I had ripping headache, body aches and chills all day. Still had it Mon until mid afternoon. I wasted a Covid test Sun as I didn't realize the shingles shot would hit like that lol.

Did you get the Shingrix vax? It is a two shot vax taken months apart. The previous vax I got years prior I don't recall much of a reaction.

Rickochet. Yea, I got Shingrix. What hurt the most was the cost, $180 per shot, insurance didn't cover it.

We are doing the 'slow' walk to get our 2nd booster as the BA.2 variant is raising its ugly head.
Recommendations are at least 4 mo. out or more from the 1st booster. We are healthy with no real
issues impacting this decision. If the variant goes nuts, I'll be in line. 🤔

Typhoon I think I'll wait until the fall for a booster. It hasn't even been 4 months since my last one.

Eguller I feel the same as you. I'll get it eventually but I sort of want to make sure if there are any issues with it they get ironed out. Its just so new... I'm doing the " slow walk" too. My wife is "sprinting".

Eguller. That's kind of how I'm looking at it. If a more deadly strain pops up I'll get the 2nd booster, if not I'm good
