Rickochet sdandrea1 There can't really be a supply chain issue. I passed eleventy-thousand-catrillion trucks on I95 yesterday from Florida to VA. Who needed the most pee stops you or Sohpie?😜 I haven't had a long road trip in years. I would hate to think how many stops I would need during a 10 hour drive. I think I might have to rig a relief tube like the old aircraft had. 🙃
sdandrea1 Rickochet Who needed the most pee stops you or Sohpie?😜 We stop every 3 hours, walk Sophie, fill the tank, empty the bladders, switch drivers and go. One of those stops includes a Chick-fil-A. Usually takes 12 hours door to door to cover the 793 miles.
sdandrea1 azgreg We are having a hell of a time getting stainless steel to make our parts. All the trucks I passed were headed north, not west. Sorry Greg.
KCee sdandrea1 ll the trucks I passed were headed north, not west. Sorry Greg. Well I know they're not bring the chips for one of our products since we were told it would likely be 9 more months......apparently they are birthing them?
Eguller sdandrea1 All the trucks I passed were headed north, not west. Sorry Greg. Travled i81 today for a Dr. appt. and it was solld 'truck city'. Most I've seen in a long time. Get those goodies to market.
Typhoon Eguller Oh today I hear there will be a " beverage shortage"...wtf?? What kind? Sort of leads me to wanting to start a thread asking how many drink tap water or bottled water.
Walterjn Typhoon depends on where I am. At home, tap is run through a filter in the fridge, nice to have cold water. At the barn, tap all day long, it's a wonderful well that tastes like Figi bottled water. Driving somewhere, mostly coffee and bottled water.
Typhoon Bravopilot Good thing I make my own Moonshine! I drink tap water, I’ll drink out of a hose.
Bravopilot Typhoon I'm actually indifferent to water but not into washing dishes--more the reason for bottled water. I assume the filter does something want the best for coffee.
Typhoon Walterjn I'll grab a bottled water out of the fridge if I'm going out but with a meal at home I go Tap. Coffee is Tap and so is my ice. We thought of getting a whole house filter but that idea sort of fizzled out. Sometimes the water is brown for some reason, flushing fire hydrants, broken water main... I usually don't drink it if I notice it being brown.
Walterjn Typhoon good idea, brown water doesn't sound very tasty... The filter at home removes chlorine, and certain other chemicals yet leaves a lot of the natural minerals in. Not sure how that works....
Bravopilot Typhoon Good call on the brown water, a strong clue not to drink. Water bottles also fit nicely in my golf bag--sometimes freeze them in advance.
Walterjn Bravopilot when it's hot, I'll grab some of the ice at the barn and fill my yeti bottle then pour cold water over that. Stays cold and has ice floating all day, carry a couple of extra cold bottles of water for refills...
Bravopilot Typhoon Did it all the time as a kid, but no need to do it now, but will, but prefer a cold bottle from the fridge.
Typhoon Bravopilot If I'm in the yard or at someone's house in the yard, I'll hit the hose water. Wife yells at me when she sees me in the yard picking up the sprinkler and drinking out of the end holes.
Rickochet Typhoon Wife yells at me when she sees me in the yard picking up the sprinkler and drinking out of the end holes. So what doesn't she yell at you for?
sdandrea1 Typhoon Wife yells at me when she sees me in the yard picking up the sprinkler and drinking out of the end holes. How else are you supposed to do it? Geez......
