Under the cover of darkness, my son-in-law and I visited the horse farm where American Pharoah is housed several months a year, in Rickochet's back yard. (I didn't want Rick to know that there was riff-raff in his neighborhood π) It was an amazing tour and what a life for a Derby and then Triple Crown winner.
The worst job in the world? That would be the stallion that is escorted into the breeding barn only to get the mares all lathered up only, shown the exit, and The Stud gets to enter. The guide didn't mention what they call these stallions but 'Blue Balls' was the first name that came to mind. π
