I'm an idiot, but Amazon is deceptive.
Wife loves a certain soup and I've been buying cases with Prime as needed. The cases are 29 bucks for 12 cans.
She was running low on Monday and asked me to get more. I noticed it said only 10 left in stock, so she said to get 2 cases. I did. Cost 58 bucks.
Order arrived today... only 12 cans, total. I was miffed. Looked at the order and it shows now that the case price applies to 6 cans, not 12?! What? I don't recall this changing from 12 cans per case to 6 but that's what it says...now. Tried returning, but it won't let you.
I'm an idiot if I missed this change, but the fact it was changed and is subtle is deceptive. 58 bucks for 12 cans of soup. The best part is my wife has been talking a lot about hyperinflation coming soon. She now believes this is evidence of that. Argh!
