Sneakylong I laugh, when I read such things about people like that....Phil not paying his caddy.
When is it, you think, the last time Phil sat down and wrote anyone/any place, a check? Or actually knew when he did pay someone/some place? These guys are always talking about their 'team'....WTF....they don't have accountants & bookkeepers?
I have no reason to doubt that Phil was always square with his caddy.
When I was in horse racing, I had to set up accounts at the tracks I raced at. It was so the drivers would get paid on time. Money was automatically deducted from any winnings and deposited in my account. The track would then pay the driver(s) out of that account. If we did not win any money, the account still had to have $$ in it to pay the minimum rate, or we did not race.
How does the PGA Tour operate without such a system? Oh, I forgot, non-profit, and that would take extra time and labor costs. đ¤
Wonder if ol' Phil ever missed a tee time because he was held up in traffic, while dropping off the utility bill payment? đ
