Chandler Phillips is tied for the lead at the Valspar. He was roommates at Texas A&M with Cameron Champ. Played junior golf against many of the PGA Tour guys like Scheffler etc..
He finally qualified for the PGA Tour this year. He tested like 10 putters before deciding on the one this week.
He also went back to an old Ping stock shaft in stiff. I assume it’s either the Alta or Tour stock shaft.
Rooting for him this weekend. He’s not a bomber with a swing speed ~ 111 mph. PGA Tour average.
Very tight leaderboard. With at least 10 guys one or two back. Love seeing these new guys realizing their dream.
