Yeah, and he typically has a bad blowup hole somewhere in his round. Always liked Rickie. He’s good for the game. Hopefully he can find his way out of lost and found. He’s shown signs, but the consistency isn’t there yet.

He has always been a very accurate short-range putter (10 feet and in). I don't know about his lag putting.
I would venture to say that he putts well enough to win. A lot of people have forgotten that one year he finished in the top five in all four majors (if memory serves).
I agree that if the swing change makes him have fewer blow-up holes, he should be competitive.

Having a good/great year can be said about a lot of golfers still on Tour. It doesn't last forever with the majority of players. They just keep playing.
