Yeah, he's not going anywhere. He's getting paid to do exactly what he does which is be an analyst and give his opinion. And as far as Reed's lawsuit shutting Chamblee up.

I don't see Chamblee talking about Reed much anymore anyway since Reed is playing in the equivalent of Siberia. lol And as far as I know the Golf Channel doesn't cover tournaments played in obscure places like Siberia. 😏

The fellas on the PGA Tour, the hardcores that are mouthy, need to take a good look at what Norman has done for them. imo, he has done more for them than his LIV players, the last few months. Shit-tons of money now coming their way that would have never happened before LIV. Never! Disrupting the history of golf?....I think not, he's only added to it. And given all PGA members the upper hand in any/all future dealings with Monahan and Co.. Balls are being squeezed, and not gently. And it is by Norman's hand. ALL Pro golfers are profiting from it.
Who is the real 'devil'?

Don't get me wrong. I like watching golf on TV. On TV.....not my PC. So, I'll continue to watch the PGA when I can, and enjoy it the same as I did the last +55 years. Also will not miss those that are gone. Esp. some that are gone. Tons of great golfers out there still, and it is now even more competitive. And no names will soon become big names.

Norman did well, and imo, he knows exactly what he's doing and what he truly intended to accomplish. It is being done. For the good of all golf.

I haven’t seen much talk of him of late. His getting the boot off of the Georgia golf team and the accusations of him cheating and stealing as well as his estrangement from his family have been known for awhile. As well as his attempts at cheating on Tour.

So there’s really nothing new. I haven’t seen the lawsuit, but assume he’s upset at Chamblee bringing up his past transgressions. That last cheating episode was in 2019 that I’m aware of. Again, Chamblee as far as I know has just brought up what is out there in the ether already.

He would have to prove malice and there is no malice in reporting what is already out there. Even if Chamblee reports what players have told him on background I can’t see where he’d be libel for defamation.

For example if Chamblee mentioned his nickname on Tour is Table For One. He’s only reporting the truth of what players have told him. I’d be very surprised if this lawsuit makes it to court.

Yes, the stories have been known for awhile ... but as reported by whom, and when? (The PGA's tentacles are pretty far-reaching ... how many golf publications are not in bed with them - even if only financially)

If Reed's attorneys can prove a conspiracy existed, dating back nine years!, that might be enough. Would he even have to prove that what was reported was incorrect? Or just that it consistently, as part of an agenda, only gave part of the story (unbalanced). That might actually be easier than to prove someone a "cheater" as one would have to know, for a fact, the person's intent. As for damages ... what is the difference a couple of strokes could make in each tournament? How different would any player's score be if fans were continually dogging them/heckling/yelling during their swing etc ... Bryson could testify! 😜

I first became aware of his college troubles in the book Slaying The Tiger: How Golf’s Young Guns Took Over The Sport (2015). Don’t think the author has an affiliation with the Golf Channel.

He has written Golf Digest.com. But I wouldn’t expect a golf story like this in the Ladies Home Journal. Lol

That’s where the stories of his cheating, stealing and getting the boot from the Georgia golf team, and him getting caught cheating and getting suspended from the Augusta golf team first surfaced nationally.

What are the odds of a player getting caught cheating on two college golf teams, resulting in getting thrown off one and a suspension by the other, and getting caught cheating on the PGA Tour all being one giant conspiracy or misunderstanding. 🙄

For all I can tell - your entire perception of him could be based on those claims (yeah, I don't buy a Golf Digest writer as being outside of the PGA's thumbprint (affiliation with Golf Channel is irrelevant - it's just one of several). Golf Digest however is owned by Discovery, who is in the middle of a 12 year partnership with the PGA ... but you probably already knew that and chose to present an unbalanced depiction. 🤪😄 Which I find amusing.

Aside: heading to Harwich in 5 minutes ... Weatherdeck may have slipped a little ... any other recommendations?

Does he have an arrest record? As I've read it, he is not guilty of anything, cheating nor theft, in college or the Pro ranks. Never arrested. Never suspended by PGA. Nothing done at Georgia. Suspended for 2 tournaments at Augusta State, but reason not stated. If caught cheating, I'd like to think any team or conference would automatically expel the player. That, is the norm, not a suspension.** And there is always the fallback that I related a couple times......remove the 'problem'.........

Try the Kream and Kone. There’s two in Dennis Rt. 28 and 134 and one on Rt 28 in Chatham. When we were there we went to the one in Chatham. The coffee frappe was better at the Keene and Kone.

The Rt.28 one is the original. First went there with my grandparents 60 years ago. Wife worked there in high school. But haven’t been to that one in years. I can only recommend the Chatham one, but I’m sure they’re all good.

The Clam Plate was excellent. But you and I see a lot of things differently, so who knows if you’ll like it. Lol. The Scallop Roll at the Weather Deck was excellent as well.😯

Bring plenty of money and report back. Lol

Also, I have it on good authority that the two brothers had a falling out and that’s why there’s two in Dennis. 🤫 Could be a conspiracy theory though.😏

Sneakylong haven't seen the show but how is Tao (sp) a victim? Didn't he invent the girl ? Or did she really exist? I was under the impression it was all a figment of his imagination, much like my affair with Scarlett Johansson
