Solid, hard-working government employees exist in great numbers. Unfortunately they are unfairly labeled by those that just want to ride out a mediocre career. I've been DoD my whole career, in a Target analysis agency. You either get that shit right or you're out.

Reed comes across as a little off to me. Fake. From his past college days to his cheating Pro days it looks like he never changed.

If you're accused of cheating and stealing from your college teammates and get kicked off the golf team and you continue to openly cheat and plead ignorance when caught there's a pattern there.

Serial cheating and getting caught would indicate not having a conscience. People with sociopathic tendencies don't feel remorse or embarrassment for their actions.

Reed obviously never learned from his transgressions or punishment. Can a person change? Absolutely. But Reed has shown no indication of changing. There is no cure for lack of remorsefulness or empathy. It's how he's wired.

Keep in mind, 'distractions' are always eliminated from situations that are bad. How many people were against the 1? You do not get rid of the team, you get rid of the team's distraction.
Not standing up for anyone, just looking at it as it should be looked at.
I don't think anything was ever proven, from what I did read about the situations. No charges filed, no arrests. So, merely 'heresay', to rid themselves of a cocky bastard. Hell, I'd do the same. Off the island!!! 😲

I remember reading a story about him manipulating his buried lie in the rough enough that he was able to get a fairway wood on the ball afterwards. I believe the incident was witnessed by a walking commentator for one of the networks. I used to pull for him but that is no longer the case.

Yet, he was not penalized and had a rules official on site.
I guess it depends on your POV of him personally.

I don’t think he can help himself. Normal wired people with his reputation for cheating would be embarrassed. But if you’re incapable of feeling shame or remorse then there’s no trip wire in his brain to stop his behavior.

For people like him there is no downside. If he gets away with it great. If he gets caught he just claims ignorance. He sleeps well either way.

Just pointing out that he is good enough to not have to do some of the shot he has done that made it on camera. That shit he did in the sand was not necessary, even if he wasn't penalized. There is what is right and there is what can be proven.
