DonM You gonna golf Monday?
A lot of people are spoiled, living where the courses never close. I am not spoiled. Every F'N course in this area closes, at a set date (not 'seasonal'), yet will open only when weather permits, not a set date.
So, no, there is no golf for me unless I drive a few 100 miles. Until courses open here, whenever they decide the weather permits. Maybe March. Maybe April. But they already know when they will be closing this year.
I will say, we have no 'dog tracks' around here. Greens and fairways are really nice all season. And courses do not hurt for bookings. And there are a lot of courses here. So, shutting down does have benefits, for those not greedy with crappy courses. Hell, I can't afford to play year round anyway! 😥
