Thanks, Walter. These kind of days make me feel really appreciative. My buns were definitely done last night walking by that oven.
This was a 200 dollar fix. I pay this guy cash and he appreciates it. He literally lives 2 blocks from me. New thermostat was 124 and service call is 75. I think he was going to waive his service call fee. Said he just cleaned up some parts and everything looked great.
Getting that for 200 was a great deal to me. I think he was happy about my website feedback. Said he got onto his wife about the way it was written. Told him I felt bad for texting him at 8a because his site said, 9-6 M-F. His wife fixed the website right away. I could tell he was upset about it and was wondering how much business he may have been losing, so pointing it out put him in a mood to cut me a deal for saving him future lost business.
Oh, and don't tell Wishbone, but I shook his hand, also. I did wash my hands right after but I still shook it.
