Do you miss the "green"? The Sonoran desert is better than the Mojave Desert to me, but every time I visit Phoenix I end up missing the color green.

Not really. We have enough grass here and a few hours north and I can be in a pine forest. Brown is the new Green.😁

I was just curious as to why. Not judging or anything like that. I could not handle living in the cold for 4-5 months. I did for 7 years as a kid living in KS but moved to CA and then to AZ. I love the game of golf and can't imagine that kind of a layoff from the game every year. I will never have to as the wife will NEVER live somewhere that snows. I have lots of family in KS and they don't leave.

Mattyv I completely get it! Phoenix is a desirable place to live IMO. I wouldn't mind ending up there for at least a few years to see how I like it.

Mattyv visit the Santa Barbara county some day. Still expensive, less populated, Close enough to see the snow on the local 'mountains', & still be near the beach in a few minutes.

I do a golf Trip out to CA almost every year. Did San Diego, Pismo, Palm Springs, Jarupa Valley, Long Beach. Was going to try Temecula this past year but COVID. I also really like the Monterey area as well. SD and the Pismo areas are my favorite.

I'm still doing that here in Minnesota. My impact projector screen finally arrived yesterday. I hope to get to putting it onto the net cage sometime next week. Then it's just getting all the components to work together and I'm playing golf, unless I find that I need blackout curtains. Then it's ordering them and waiting for them to be made and sent to me.
