Shot an 86 in yesterday's ABCD Tournament. Carded 3 triples. I can't get off the tee lately but my irons and putting are pretty good. Tough to score when you are chipping out of the woods all day though. One triple was me just taking my max as it appeared someone may have played my ball (from our fairway) and left me theirs 😡 I think I would have made bogey net par we got 2 net pars any way.

We finished mid pack. None of us really played that well, but our A player was horrible; not sure we used any of his scores. I was the B and I beat him and I think our C player did as well. It was mainly our C and D players giving us our 2 low net scores on most holes with me helping here and there.

That's the thing with this $%&*%# frustrating game. When it ALL works together on the same day (maybe ONCE or TWICE a year...?) we shoot 75 and think of that as "our game!!" The rest of the time.....?????

Typhoon I should bench the driver. 3w and 5w are decent and hybrid is reliable. 7i would be giving up a LOT of yards for this pea shooter.

I can usually get the driver going but so far it's no bueno. The Elyte head seems fine and its the same shaft but I just can't hit it 😞

Maybe not, if you hit 7 iron 160, that’s 310 for 2 shots. Right now you hit it 230 into the woods and punch out 20 yards sideways. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

It’s like th other week with the kid who said he wanted to lull himself after the round. I’m either on the green I’m 2 or just off and after his tee shot and second shot, if he even found the tee shot. He’s hitting his 3rd from 140.

Typhoon The problem is I would try to hit my 7i farther to make up some yards which would make it worse. That's usually what happens with my 3 wood. When I hit my 3w on the doglegs I hit it almost as far as my driver. I don't swing hard because I don't want to go through the dogleg. If I use 3w on a driver hole I try to kill it instead of swinging like it's a dogleg and then I 'll hook it or block it right.

Hahaha…. No, I’m thinking best case you hit it 160 but won’t do it twice in a row so I take off 10 yards. Typhoons realistic golf math😁

I shot 41-43-84 today at The Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, MI. VERY tough day to play.....25-35 mph winds and rock hard, lightening fast greens made it a real challenge. Not much to brag about, except that I survived, LOL....
7 GIR / 36 putts / 0 birdies....

Shot a 41 tonight. Tried 4 different shafts in the driver at the range and S flies a bit low but straight where R is nice height but hanging right or hooking left. Played an R and got by. My main troubles came from hitting an iron too far and flying the green.
