I went to the range as well.....first range time all season off REAL grass! My usual range (and course) were closed today due to high water, so I went to the next closest one. Not the greatest.....good golf balls, but the grass hadn't been mowed this week, and it's not actually level.....but I hit it pretty well, so I'm glad I got the practice in. Golf
practice is STILL golf !!!!

81 at Tarpon Springs. One birdie and it was ~ 30 feet. Very windy this morning. Drove the ball very well. Putted good. Left 2 birdie putts just short of the hole. Irons are still eh. Trying a few different feels, but nothing has clicked just yet.

Horrible. Not even reporting my score. No energy, no focus and now I HATE all my clubs except my driver and putter. They behaved.🤬

I headed out the door, sunny, not much wind, mid 60's, with the mindset of shooting -8 today.

Stayed with reality....grabbed the mower and did the yard. 🤣

First Michigan round yesterday. 86, a triple and double killed me. 17 putts right handed, 17 putts left handed.

Recently I've been playing on Mondays with two guys in their 80s and one who is 91. They play from the red tees. Sometimes I play the whites but sometimes I just play with them so we're all together. It helps my scores. 🙂 Yesterday I had back to back birdies for only the second time I can remember and shot 37 on the front 9. I wondered if they were going to suggest I move back, lol. Ended up shooting 80 after 3 putting for double on #18.

85 yesterday. 32 putts left handed which is good for me. Might actually be something promising here.

I shot 37-41-78 at historic old Ottawa Park (est. 1899) in Toledo, Ohio. Today was a case of
"played well, putted terrible," as I hit 14 GIR, but took 39 putts (FOUR 3-putts), 1 birdie. Also, my driving,
which has always been one of the best parts of my game, was a little off today.....didn't hit a really
good drive until the 18th hole! Oh well....our Tuesday travel group kicked off the season today,
so it was good to play with my old buddies again!

My last rounds have not been very good but it is April. Shot a 91 which was a crazy windy day (PCC = 2) and I 3-jacked like 6 times with that ZT putter. Next was an 85 still windy but not as gusty and the putter cooperated a bit. Last night was 42 on the front with a triple on #8.

Probably just my lousy swing but the Elyte driver with the same shaft seems a lot more draw biased than the Ai Smoke Max. I played with the weight and settings (and maybe swung better) and straightened it out.

Having the ability to demo Callaway drivers, I have not been able to really see any change or improvements since the Paradym line.

I think my favorite was the Rogue ST Max; I was a little straighter with a ballflight that allowed more rollout. I traded that in for the Ai Smoke Max and it might be a little more forgiving and slightly higher launching. Same for the Elyte except I am always drawing the ball where I had to try hard to draw the Rogue and Smoke. Never tried the Paradym.

I hit the range yesterday and went away from the +2 D setting with draw weight position. Neutral settings produced a small draw instead of the uncontrollable one. I have always been a fader with the driver and a drawer with all other clubs.
