80 at Heritage Harbor. One birdie. They didn’t over seed so everything was a tight lie. Still hit a lot of good shots. Two excellent 4 hybrids into greens.

Hit a nice shot with a 7 iron right passed the flag. Hit some good fairway woods as well. Greens were slow and left a lot of putts short. All in all not bad. 39 degrees this morning. But it was sunny which helped.

40 40 today as a single with nobody in front. Sunny and 37 degrees with no wind. Beautiful winter conditions. The Otey Crisman putter was HOT.

I played today. I don't want to talk about this round either. It was a beautiful day. A little cold to start (low 40's) but in the 60's when we finished.

I was surprised to see how few cars were in the lot when I got there. We had no one in front of us all day, and no one behind us. We got around in about 3-1/2 hours, cart path only.

84 yesterday. Short game killed me especially putting. I was putting good for awhile then just lose all feel. Still hitting driver well, still choking up 3", but with my foot feeling better I'm starting to get it out to 200 and a little more, basically playing a 42" driver. Happy about that.

Damn, 86 with 38 putts! I'm wasting some great driving days. I need an intervention. I did have some success with Typhoon's idea of a faster backstroke. May need to work on that6 more.

garyt1957 Yup, you want the tempo to remain smooth but faster. It stops the club from wavering on the backswing and keeps it online into the through stroke. You will have to practice it some so you don’t get jerky with it.

82 at Heritage Harbor. No birdies. Ball striking with irons was off. Very slow out there today. 4 1/2 hour round. The fairways were tight lies. Basically hitting off dirt. Nice day weather wise though.

I think I hit rock bottom, I just bought a LEFT handed putter!
It's one of those cheap.ones they have at mini golf, $5.
Crazy thing is I'm at least as good with it as I am right handed

garyt1957 Why don’t you go for a putting lesson? Can you find a AAM putt lab near
you? Using a properly fit putter and lesson in the putt lab would go a long way.

I wish you lived near me so I could see what’s going on.

GIR is my worst stat. I can stripe 14 fairways off the tee on any given day and still only manage 6 or 7 GIRs. Thank God I have a decent short game.

Par4QC least week I hit 6 straight GIR and 3 putted 5 of them

0 GIRs make me look like a great putter😆, even with a wonky grip alignment. Only had 27.
Reality is, I chip/pitch well.

The irons were short, by maybe 1/2-1 club, and I refused to give in. Also had a few fringe balls.😉

sdandrea1 6-7 GIRs is actually pretty good. There's that formula floating around hete but I think 6-7 GIRs should be in the 80 -82 range?

Typhoon. That's the plan when I get home. Too much time wasted trying to figure it out alone.

garyt1957 Sounds like me a few years ago. Many of my rounds had 4-6 3-putts. My speed control sucked and I couldn't make anything in the 4-6 ft range. My driver and irons were pretty darn good though. My putting is hugely improved but the driver is getting worse and worse. Can't have it all unless you are Typhoon?
