74 at Tarpon Springs. No birdies, but got my first hole in one at 70 years old.⛳️🏌️♂️😎
Got it on the 17th hole playing ~ 155. Hit my 6 iron right at the pin. Saw it disappear, but with the pin near the back of the green we weren’t sure if it went in or rolled off the back.
Funny, drove the ball really well, but irons were off except for on # 17. Never wanted a miss hit hole in one and couldn’t imagine a more solidly struck shot to get my first.
The 74 score is a little misleading because on the par 5 13th they had it playing ~ 165 because of work (digging) being done in the fairway.
Cold and windy this morning. Mid 40’s when we went out at 7:30. Oh, a lot of times on the last par 3 I’ll say “last chance for a hole in one.” And I said it today. 👍 What I didn't yell today (which I usually do) when my shot was going at the flag was drinks!!!, drinks!!! lol
