Shot 43 in league last night and lost by 2. It was super windy again and I was super inconsistent again.

On a positive note the 79's are coming off my GHIN and I should go up a stroke or 2 before the tournaments start......of course I still need to play better.

I went over my scorecard last night, and I figure I hit 9 fairway woods / hybrids into greens and 9 irons. The number of woods and hybrids seems to be increasing as I get older.....☹. It's obvious that I'd better develop a better
short game if I want to break 80 this year !!

Have had two identically annoying rounds.
Bad driving .... 8/14 fairways with 2 OB each round. Ye olde double cross.
FW, Hybrids, Irons just fabulous. 13 GIR and 14 GIR.
Putter frustrating. Zero birdies.
Birdie putts made under 30 feet - 0 / 10 and 0/11.
Par putts made 5-30 feet - 2/3 and 2/3. Both rounds have ended by making long par putts on 18, 20 feet and 25 feet.

I'm getting close to that again. Par 3s today - 5 iron, 4 hybrid, 4 hybrid, 5 iron. Hit all the greens! Missed all the putts!

Full 18 this afternoon…wind managed to kick up a bit but not horrible.
Didn’t score for shiz…carded a damn 90.

Does everyone know that scoring in golf comes down to short game, short game, short game? 😆🤣

Drove the ball very well for the second round in a row…the LTDx Max managed to poke one 277 yards on #10…tailwinds & firm Spring fairways are so friggin nice! 😆

TS3 irons continue to just get better & better every round…these things may be in the bag for awhile.

Slumpbuster today. Didn't want to play I have a sore forearm and had just played a couple hours of basketball but I couldn't take waiting 4-5 days to get the taste yesterdays round out of my mouth.
Shot 77 mostly due to good chipping and putting. Only hit 2 or 3 greens but had 29 putts. No real trouble on this course. Few bunkers, no water, no real OB, just tight tree lined fairways. Not much movement on the greens. Hence the Slumpbuster moniker. If you can't shoot a good score here, time to rethink your hobby.
Beats my 93 yesterday.

I truly think a big part is you can play as fast as you want. I played 18 holes in 1:50

garyt1957 And there lies the problem with golf carts. I walk, maybe you do as well. Walking you can control your pace and be fine whether it’s slow out there or empty. In a cart… hit the ball, drive 120moh to your ball to sit there and wait.

I don't know how, added my score up 3 times and still came up with the same answer. 32, I went around my little place at 3 over, playing irons only. I didn't feel I was playing well, missed a bunch of tee shots, hit a couple trees, putter was giving me the cold shoulder. Something was working, I just don't know what...
