My last few rounds had been a mess, trying to make some minor swing changes was a nightmare. Driver was all over the place. So, took a few weeks off, and went back out today determined to not think about the swing, just hit the ball.
Pulled that 1st drive into the trees for a bogey, then 2 birdies and 4 pars in the next six, followed by 11 pars for the first under par round in 18 months. Dang, that was fun.
