sdandrea1 agreed! I got to hear them talking about Kiawah island, ocean courses, Dublin, Florida, New York, shrinking distances ( both were older than me, the younger of the 2 is 55). Talked about US open qualifying, which according to one of them was happening yesterday at La Purisima.
Most of that was on the course as we were playing. Afterward, as we were on the patio, it was more about where one of them had moved to and from, a little bit about his wife and how she traded a Harley for a horse, how he works east coast hours and has the entire afternoon to do as he pleases. The other was talking about watching the senior tour guys and their swings, and watching the LPGA for their swings, and how the ladies are better looking for the most part. We touched on a little bit of everything, architecture, cars, women driving bigger pickups, outrageous rents, housing market, etc... I got a small peek at how some people live. The 55 year old by far has the most disposable income, he is working with stocks for a company. He was asking the other guy and myself about rental cost for a place he and his wife lived for a month, 10k for one month. His car just cost him almost 5k for what he took it in for, a coolant leak. All in all I had a fantastic round with two great guys. The drink on the patio was the cherry on top!
