garyt1957 Playing senior tees for anybody who can at least hit it 200 yards is a cheat code.
If you can only hit driver 200, senior tees should be OK. As long as you are not one of those people that just cannot hit driver, but then can hit a 7i 150. Then I'd say that is cheatin'. Learn how to hit the driver if you can hit irons that well(as a senior). I can't. I do get few of those 'where TF did that come from' drives per round, but my next shots are typically out of my iron range; have to hit hybrid/FW club. I play from 5550 where I play the most, but other places have senior tees anywhere from 5200-5900. I'll move back on the 5200, and even move back on that 5900 due to how they've placed the tee boxes aiming into the trees on most of them. And I may or may not still shoot around 80. Depends on the stars the night before.😅
I don't think the driving distance is what should be the base for determining which set of tees to play from. Goes both ways with driver, which we all know is the hardest club to master. A person can bang it 240, but can't hit a 9i 100; or they can hit 200 and hit that 9i 130. And neither got on that 'short' 340yd. Par4 hole .
Just play from where you think you should. Only you know your game.
But don't be bitchin' about it either way.😉😄
