Well today was as the worst I can remember as I had no part of my game to bail me out on a hole.
You could probably use every negative golf adjective except sh**k and whiff to be applicable to a shot of mine today.
The driver was absolute toast. I was hitting the 3 wood better off the tee and probably as far. That coupled with my very noticeable loss of distance after my 20 month layoff was a wake up call.
I even quit using GPS for yardage and relied on judgement to club myself, with better success.
A first for me was "flipping" at the ball near impact. So much so I stopped at IHOP to use my new talent flipping pancakes.

The driver is staying in the closet until I can figure it out and I'm joining a gym tomorrow .
Surprisingly I'm not pissed off but instead feel challenged.
