91, which is better than I thought I might after a long layoff. My long game deserved a better score than that, but I think I had 6 three putts and I don't recall getting up and down once today. 3 pars, 11 bogeys, 4 double bogeys.
I put a sleeve of MaxFli Tour balls in my bag and played them the whole round - losing two. Overall not a bad ball. Good driver distance, more distance on iron shots than other balls I've played. However, at least at my swing speed, it doesn't spin anywhere close to a premium ball. One of the reasons for my many three putts (besides me just sucking), was that I hit several "flyers" from the fairway today. Good looking shots that flew 10 yards farther than normal and then didn't check quickly at all on the green. Also hit quite a few seemingly good chips and pitches that rolled out much farther than I would expect from something called a tour ball. Maybe it is at tour speeds, but for me it's not even close to the league of ProV1, Z-Star, TP5, or even some mid-level balls for iron and wedge spin.
