Everything seems to be taken....always. I own the legal rights to the trademark for Section 28. and .net. When I started geek golf someone had .com as well. The important thing is to own the mark.
At one time .net, .org,, .com etc. meant something. Now apparently you can have pretty much have .anything if you apply. Maybe you can get .golfclub if it hasn't been previously assigned.
Agreed. Best of luck Steve!
Geez, I go away for one weekend and leave this board alone, and suddenly people are quittin' jobs, starting companies...it's mayhem. Anyways, all the best in your new venture, Steve!
BTW just in case. stevealmo@icloud.com
Steve, I'm thinkin you got plenty of time now for sorting through all those clubs you got in storage!

You mean all those persimmon woods? Still have never opened!? Lol. Giving all to my uncle Manny. Have nothing else except a bunch of my own playing clubs.
Bangoman
OMG - you never even opened those boxes????? Hahahahahaha - I love it.

I lied. I paritally opened 1 box when I sold Geek golf. And O. this guy must have truly loved his collection. Each woof was meticulous in the way each one was wrapped and packed. I really believe if it wasn't for his divorice and he didn't need the money he would never have sold them. It must have killed him.
Bangoman By my calculations it's 5:30ish for you right now... Good Morning Golfbuzz 😅 Just watched "Soundbreaking" on PBS - George Marin, Phil Spector, Rick Rubin, Sly Stone - must see for you.

mainuh I'll call you instead

I watched that episode last night as well. Not a huge Beatles fan, but my son is. Really enjoyed the part about them though.
Forget the .com domain, that's so 2000's! Just go with OMG.golf! It's available, though the annual fee is a bit steeper than .com or .net domains (that extra ~$50/yr should be a drop in the bucket, in the big picture).
Good luck!
Thanks all!
O M G !!! Good luck with the new venture.

I am very happy in the direction we are introducing the company. My partners are very easy to work with. No egos to get in the way. They are old school like me. Our policy right off the bat is to treat the customer like GOLD. Make them happy. No BS...no lying concerning how many units we have sold (who cares anyway except us). No miracles without some range time. Just a good original design product that may work for some. We are very excited and my mind is back in AlmoDesign mode.......thank goodness! They are very good people ........thank goodness! I will properly introduce them to you soon. We are getting ready!
Steve I could wish you good luck, but you don't need luck. You products are always good for the game. Rarely do you release a bad product. Enjoy your new endeavor.

Thank you for all your faith in me thru all the years. You have always been in my corner along with many others on here!
It is easy to back a winner!
Bangoman u always put out quality Steve...That's why we're with ya.
I wish you nothing but the best Steve. I also wouldn't mind seeing an Almo design for the southpaws. But I also know in this economy it's not the smartest or easiest thing...

Rod that may be in the cards...possibly on our first introduction. We are going to try an unusual marketing concept of which I will tell you about when we are ready. And thanks Rod.
