My wife used them for years. She 's a good golfer who could hit fairway woods and pound the driver (she'd get them out there 240 at times)but just wasn't very good with irons. I got her one and it was night and day how much better she hit it, Ended up getting her a full set 5-pw. At the time they were only every other club ie a mid was 6-7 a short was 8-9 and a wedge, They later came out with individual clubs and she filled out her set.
Now years later and only playing golf two or three times a year for the last 5 years or so her swing has changed more upright and she has moved back to hitting irons. She still uses the WW 5 and mid as hybrids though.
I've tried them with middling success. They have a shorter shaft then most hybrids and a heavy head. I did use the 3I as a hybrid for awhile. They're a decent club and work as advertised for some people.
