accufitgolf I think you have the one forum that understands that better than all other forums, but you already knew that. My only issue with watching the women is the syrupy swings that I never had and never will have.

At a live event, I definitely prefer going to an LPGA event. Except the 2 Masters I attended.

TV probably lean to favouring the men, better announcers, more star power etc
there is no LPGA event on tv that comes close to challenging my interest in one the 4 Men's Majors and the Players, Pres Cup, Ryder Cup......not even The Solheim Cup, although I would put it ahead of any other PGA event.

I think there is better tv coverage for the men and I like watching them hit shots that I cannot. I can't always look in either a PGA or LPGA players bag for clubs. The guys have so much more SS than me so I can't play their clubs. The ladies are closer to my SS, but they are so smooth that they can play lighter stuff than I can.

I really only watch the majors anymore. While I agree the woman correlate more to our games I won't watch much. They'd have to wear bikinis or less to get me to tune in regularly.

Tough for me to watch tournaments with no name players. I really like the Euro tour especially on weekend mournings.

That group of Euro announcers is by far the funniest TV group I can remember and knowledgeable as well.

Get a program or better yet, go to their bios and see a pic so you can equate their records/history to a face.

Tinker, it's not much different than the first time you went to Yankee Stadium. How many players did you know beforehand but I bet you became an even bigger fan with a program and a little bit of effort when you got home. That's what happened to me attending an old Kansas City A's game as a tike.

The LPGA is fun to watch and I can relate to their game better. Course it also helped that I worked 'inside the ropes' during a Symetra tour event as the 3some's scorer and I also was keeping their individual stats on my assigned tablet.
